As some of you know, my lab exam is scheduled for Nov. 10th. My intentions were to schedule back to back sessions with Proctor Labs every day the week prior. Yesterday I had decided to go ahead and reserve the sessions for those days.

Status Update on Studies

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted, so I wanted to give a quick update on how my studies have been going. I have pretty much worked through all the labs in IPexpert Workbook Vol 1 and have decided to work on Vol 2 and Vol 3 at the same time.

Proctor Labs Voice Rack Session

My first Proctor Labs voice rack session went well today for the most part. You are given the option of connecting via Cisco VPN Client or EzVPN. I decided to try and use the EzVPN solution so that I could use the phones from my lab. After a little customizing of the EzVPN config that is provided, I was able to get connected.

Spent the past several days going over Lab 7: Media and Lab 8:High Availability. Although both Labs were pretty straight forward and most of the tasks I have configured several times, I was still able to learn a few new things.
