With Callmanager, partitions and calling search spaces are utilized for implementing calling restrictions and creating closed dial groups. But what happens when in SRST? During SRST, any call restrictions defined within Callmanager will not apply and all devices will have unrestricted dialing. COR resolves this issue. COR (Class of Restriction) is a Cisco IOS voice gateway feature that enables calling privileges to be applied and is most commonly used with Callmanager Express and SRST.
Well, I am under the 30 day mark. 27 days until my first attempt at the CCIE voice lab. I started this journey back in February and can’t believe how fast time flies. My studies have gone very well over the past few months and I feel I have a good understanding of most of the technologies.
In the Virtual Voice lab series, I am using an Ubuntu Linux environment. To eliminate permissions issues, it is best that you run GNS3 as root.
Here are a couple issues I have experienced when running GNS3 as a normal user.
Not able to start dynamips.
Error msg: Can’t Connect to the hypervisor on port 7200
Not able to connect to a cloud object.
Error Msg: 206-unable to create Linux raw ethernet NIO
Error Msg: 206-unable to create Linux generic ethernet NIO
Error Msg: 206-unable to create UDP NIO
