Thanks for the tutorial.
I implement the automatic backup for the cisco 2950 and 3750 switches ( 145 switches ) and its works fine.
Now the second line can make changes and they dont have to think about a backup.
realy SUPERRRRRRRRRR.

Anyone have any issues where the config starts to write to the server, but then it just stops in the middle of the transfer?

Is there a way to get it to save the file it writes to the SCP server with a certain filename, such as the date?

@Malcolm: I had that problem and I eventually figured out that it was a firewall problem. Removed the firewall and it worked!
