Not sure what's going on, but when I set up the loopback GNS3 works great. However, nothing else does. The PC can't access the real internet. When I do a ping or traceroute, I see it trying to go out the loopback interface. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Hashil,

Your problem is the windows firewall. Disable it and you should be able to communicate from the router to the PC.

Hi, I'm having problem integrating with win2000. I have used physical interface to bind with a virtual interface of the R1. But can't ping the router from the host machine. Surprisingly, I can ping the router from any other device in the LAN, except the host win2000 machine.
Any idea please?

IFX,

You can go through the same steps to create several loopback interfaces.
