Cisco – Edit Call Manager BAT csv with Portable Open Office

If you are like me, you cringe at the though of installing anything on your Cisco Call Manager servers (windows based) and you have spent too much time editing your BAT (bulk administration tool) templates with excel and copying the files back and forth to the call manager server. With PortableOpenOffice from Portableapps.com you do not have to install anything and can edit your BAT csv files on the server. Just download the zip file, extract it, and run Calc directly from the extracted folder. No install necessary. Note: To properly format csv files for Call manager BAT tool, make sure you clear the quotes from the text delimiter when opening the .csv file.
