Where did the name Blindhog come from?
The name comes from this saying – "Even ablind hog occasionally finds an acorn". When searching out solutions in networking and technology, I often times feel like I am blindly searching google until I find what I am looking for. My vision for Blindhog.net is to create a site that offers answers to difficult questions through video tutorials…or acorns.
Why do I go to Paypal.com when I try to download the tutorials?
Blindhog.net is supported with advertising. When a tutorial is downloaded, there are no longer ads to support the site. So instead of not offering a downloadable version, I decided to sell the tutorial for a very reasonable price.
Is there a way to download the tutorials for free?
No. See response above.
Are there any plans to offer downloads for free?
Possibly. Eventually, I may allow companies to "sponsor" tutorials. This means a company can purchase an advertising slot on the tutorial’s page and everyone else can download it for free. This way, the sponsoring company gets exposure and everyone else gets a free tutorial.
Do you take requests for tutorials? Yes. Just click on the ‘email me’ link on the front page and give me your ideas.
