•  Where did the name Blindhog come from?
The name comes from this saying – "Even a blind hog occasionally finds an acorn".  When searching out solutions in networking and technology, I often times feel like I am blindly searching google until I find what I am looking for. My vision for Blindhog.net is to create a site that offers answers to difficult questions through video tutorials…or acorns.
  • Why do I go to Paypal.com when I try to download the tutorials?
Blindhog.net is supported with advertising. When a tutorial is downloaded, there are no longer ads to support the site. So instead of not offering a downloadable version, I decided to sell the tutorial for a very reasonable price.
  • Is there a way to download the tutorials for free?
    No. See response above.
  • Are there any plans to offer downloads for free?
Possibly. Eventually, I may allow companies to "sponsor" tutorials. This means a company can purchase an advertising slot on the tutorial’s page and everyone else can download it for free. This way, the sponsoring company gets exposure and everyone else gets a free tutorial.
  • Do you take requests for tutorials?
Yes. Just click on the ‘email me’ link on the front page and give me your ideas.
  • What software do you use to create the tutorials?
    Wink.

  • How can I support Blindhog.net?

    • Purchase our tutorials.
If you are like me, you don’t like the "idea" of purchasing anything related to technology. You like to find the free way and creative way to do everything. If this is the case, just think of it as a tip…like you would give a waiter at a restraunt.
    • Visit our sponsors on this site.
I am not encouraging click fraud. Just look at the advertising links on the page. If you see something that truely interests you, click the link and visit the site.
    • Send us ideas for tutorials you would like to see.
Even if we don’t know how to do something, we will research it and create a tutorial.
    • Spread the word.
Let your friends know about our site.
    • Submit your own video tutorials.
We will soon be offering ad-sense sharing. You post your adsense ads with your tutorials. We will bring the traffic.
