In a previous tutorial, I showed you how to create a vmware session with easyvmx and vmware player. This time, I will show you how to take this one step further … installing vmware tools. VMware tools enhances the vmware experience with better graphics and device support. VMware player does not come with the tools.

VMware Player 2.0 comes with VMware Tools. That’s the reason the download is now about 120MB compared to the 24MB for VMware Player 1.0.

Uh, any explanation on how to use this please? There’s no documentation that i’ve found that explains how to use vmware tools if it’s included with vmware player 2.0 thanks.

All the .iso images for vmware tools can be found in this directory on your PC.
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Player
This just cuts out the download step from the video.
