hi there,

I would like to find out which training provider provides CCIE Voice Bootcamp for lab and how much is the cost of the whole training program. In addition to that, i also would appreciate if i could get some feedback in terms of how is the facilities provided by the trainer, venue, and the trainer's itself.

Appreciate some feedback on this matter.

Guys, This blog was interesting, I myself is in Cisco Voice Track from over 5 yrs now and done quite a bit of professional certifications and i have been fortunate to design and implemented all kind of voice projects be it CCM(3.x, 4.X, 5.X),CME's, Unity, IPCC Express, IPCC Enterprise as well. Though earlier i never thought of appearing for CCIE-V, but now i strongly feel that time has come for me to give it a hard try. The major worry for me to prepare for CCIE-V is labs, as we don't have labs in the office i sit in. I have heard proctor's labs are good.. but those labs are pretty expensive for an individual to buy.

What you guys recommend? shall i go for IPExpert online labs?

Cheers!!

Ash,

If you want a complete CCIE voice lab, just look at the CCIE v3 blueprint and purchase the necessary equipment. Or, you may find it is cheaper to rent rack time from proctorlabs.com.

If you are looking for an incomplete lab for very cheap, look here: http://www.blindhog.net/how-to-build-a-voice-lab-with-gns3-and-vmware/

Khalid,

You will need to get your CCNA Voice certification first. After that, you can work towards your CCVP. I've heard people recommend the QOS test first since it relies so heavily on IOS configuration. Get it out of the way and on to CUCM, Unity, etc.

Khalid,

congrats on finishing your CCNA and welcome to CCVP track which is quite intresting and worth doing it. I'd suggest you start your CCVP from CVOICE exam. If you need further help let me know as well.
