Hi,
This is SOO helpful, but I have a question about activating 3des and des – how do I do it? I have access to cisco cco and have many actual pixes running in production, I know I cant register an emulated pix to get a key – so, how do I do it?
Thanks BH,
Seth

Thank you – great tutorial!
The tutorial froze about 3/4 of the way through (hung IE), but got round it by using the slider at the bottom of the page, going past the 3/4 mark, and then working my way back from there using the green arrows.
Never knew that you could add commands to telnet after breaking it (ctrl+]) – always just thought that this was for ending telnet (usually type in ‘quit’ after that)!
Thanks for the help!

Nateevs,
I am not sure about this error. You might try the hacki forums.

or use GNS3

Thanks Josh for the prompt response. I tried deleting the pemu files and downloading a different one.
Upon running it again I get the following error
“could not open tap0″
Have you ever seen this before? If you have, what can I do to rectify it?
Thanks.

I’ve gotten QEMU to work with ASA 8.0(2), but 8.0(4) doesn’t unpack. I’ve checked all the forums online, including hacki, but no luck. Has anyone been successful with 8.0(4) yet? I’d really like to use the Phone Proxy feature in it.
