I think DHCP server shd also be added as a must for the phones to get registered.As soon as I added a DHCP server,my IPCC got registered to the CCM in vmware.</description>

The best source of labs that I can find is the IPExperts Blended Learning Solution. Even if you are not studying for your CCIE, the package is great for just learning. They have several hours of video showing you how to do the labs as well.
